Solo and Ensemble Times

SOLO AND ENSEMBLE WILL HAVE A 2-HOUR DELAY TO THE START TIMES FOR SATURDAY. This is to make sure there is time for roads to clear and to get more sunlight due to the winter weather expected tonight in southern Hardin County. Please add two hours to the time listed for your event.

Click the links below to find your solo and ensemble times. Woodwind Solos are in Room 2. Brass Solos are in Room 1. Percussion Solos and Ensembles are in Band Room. All woodwind and brass ensembles are in Room 1.

If you have a time conflict between an ensemble time and a solo, you should keep your solo time and work with the room monitor to adjust your ensemble performance time.

UPDATED ROOM TIMES as of Tuesday, Feb 12

Solo and Ensemble will be held on Saturday, February 16 at East Hardin Middle School. Students should dress nicely for performances. No jeans or tennis shoes.

Students should arrive 30 minutes before their performance to warm up and find the performance room. After the performance, students should report to the awards area to receive their certificate and rating.

All-District Band Schedule UPDATE

UPDATE at 10:30 AM: All-District Band has been moved to Saturday Feb 2 (tomorrow). We will meet at the band room at 7:30AM to load on Saturday Feb 2. The All-District Concert will be at 7:00PM at Meade County High School.

Bring: Money for Lunch, change of clothes for concert attire, instrument, music, pencil and if you have not picked up your folder bring $5 for the folder fee.

Here is the newest schedule:

UPDATE at 9:15 AM: We will receive notification around 11:00AM from the schools if it is safe to travel in buses to Meade County. IF it is safe, we will meet at the CHHS Band room at 12:45 and plan to leave at ~1:00PM. More updates will be posted when we learn the status of the buses. Thank you for your patience.

UPDATE at 7:10AM: The All-District Committee is checking on the availability of Meade County Schools. Right now the plan is to start All-District Band at Meade County at 1:00PM. IF THIS IS THE CASE, students should meet at CHHS Band Room at 12:00 noon to get equipment and load buses. (please see the 9:15AM Update for new times). This is only for update purposes and is not the full plan yet. Please check back to see what the the actual plan will be.

This information is for All-District band scheduled to be held Feb 1-2, 2-19 at Meade County High School

Here is the UPDATED schedule: new schedule will be posted as soon as updated information is available.

All students need money for lunch and dinner on Friday. We will travel to a local fast food restaurant on Friday for lunch and for dinner. On Saturday, lunch will be provided (pizza).

School buses will take the students to Meade County High School on Friday and return Friday evening. School buses will take the students to Meade County High School on Saturday, but parents must pick them up after the 2:00 PM concert on Saturday. There will not be a bus to bring students back on Saturday. Parents should attend the 2:00 PM concert at Meade County High School on Saturday and then pick up their child after the concert.

Students will need to dress up for the concert on Saturday. Please see the schedule posted above for more information regarding what to wear for the concert.

The games for pep band are canceled for tonight, Jan 21. Games have been rescheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan 22 with a 5:30 PM Call Time

9/10 Audition Update and Reschedule

The All-District Band 9/10 Auditions make up date will be Saturday, Jan. 19. The auditions will be held at Central Hardin High School. Students will use the same time that was given to them for the last audition.

We will need student and parent volunteers to help with the hosting responsibilities. More information regarding helping/volunteering will be posted soon – please check back for more info.
